Iranian Foreign Minister on Thursday held a telephone conversation with Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani on Tuesday.
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani discussed the latest developments in the region and Palestine.
In the conversation, the latest state of efforts and political movements to stop the war on Gaza and the proposed initiatives to establish a ceasefire, exchange of prisoners and sending shipments of international humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza were discussed.
Referring to tomorrow's match between the national football teams of the two countries in the semi-final stage of the Asian Cup in Qatar, the two foreign ministers wished success to each other's teams.
