2 Israeli-linked tankers hit in Indian Ocean in early Jan.

TEHRAN, Jan. 09 (MNA) – Two Zionist tankers carrying a large amount of oil to the Israeli-occupied territories were targeted in the Indian Ocean on January 4, the Lebanon-based TV news channel Al Mayadeen has quoted an informed source as saying.

The first vessel named (CHEM CILICON), belonging to the Israeli ACE company, was traveling under the flag of Liberia, which was attacked in the northwest of the Maldive Islands in the Indian Ocean, Al Mayadeen said in a report early on Tuesday.

The second tanker named (PACIFIC GOLD), owned by the Zionist regime and belonging to the Stern Company, was attacked near Cochin Port in India.

The Zionist regime waged a bloody war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, after Palestinian resistance movement Hamas carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the usurping entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Monday that the death toll from the Zionist regime’s attacks on the besieged enclave had reached 23,084.

Resistance forces in the region have targeted Israeli and US interests in support of the Palestinians since the beginning of the war between the Zionist regime and Hamas in Gaza.
