Iraqi Islamic Resistance targets US base in Syria with drones

TEHRAN, Jan. 08 (MNA) – The Islamic Resistance of Iraq said it targeted the American base of Al-Ramilan in Syria with drones.

"We targeted the American base 'Al-Ramilan' in Syria with a drone attack," the Iraqi Islamic Resistance said in a statement on Monday.

The statement from the Islamic Resistance of Iraqcame after it was reported earlier Monday that "The US base in al-Omar oil field in Syria was attacked with 30 missiles, and this attack was carried out in response to the recent US attack on a truck at the Al-Qaem-Al Boukamal border crossing on the Iraqi border."

Meanwhile, Lebanese Al-Mayadeen reported that this attack, which was carried out with 30 missiles, directly targeted the American base and resulted in casualties there. This attack took place from inside Syria.

At the same time as the Gaza war continues, the Iraqi Resistance is targeting the bases of the American occupying troops in Iraq and Syria in support of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation against the Zionist regime launched by Palestinian Resistance groups in the occupied lands.

Also on Sunday, the Iraqi Resistance targeted the American base in Qasrak in the suburbs of Hasakah in northeastern Syria and Ain al-Asad base in western Iraq.
