Tel Aviv plan to displace Gazans shows true goal of genocide

TEHRAN, Dec. 26 (MNA) – The Palestinian Foreign Ministry announced in a statement on Monday that the Israeli prime minister's plan to displace Gazans reveals the true goal of Israel's bloody onslaught on Gaza.

In a statement on Monday, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned Benjamin Netanyahu's plan to allegedly "facilitate" the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, which is currently under the regime's genocidal war.

"The remarks and positions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and a number of Likud Party leaders at a recent meeting regarding their plan to facilitate the displacement of [Palestinian] citizens from the Gaza Strip constitute a clear confession that reveals the true goal of the genocidal war led by Netanyahu against our people in the Strip," the ministry said.

"Netanyahu’s support for the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip calls for a courageous international stance to immediately stop the aggression against the Gaza Strip and stop the crime of ethnic cleansing and displacement [of Gazans] before it is too late," it noted.

Earlier on Monday, Israeli media said Netanyahu was pushing for plans to implement "voluntary migration" of the Palestinians in Gaza to other countries. Addressing a closed-door parliamentary session for his Likud Party, Netanyahu reportedly said, "Our problem is the countries that are willing to absorb [them], and we are working on it."

Referring to the support of the US and its Western allies for Israel's war of genocide in Gaza, the Palestinian ministry said Netanyahu's comments were "a slap in the face to all countries that have supported Israel in its war against our people and still do so under the pretext of self-defense."

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime’s decades-long violence against Palestinians.

At least 20,674 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in the regime's aggression so far.
