Number of Palestinians detained by Zionists exceeds 3,000

TEHRAN, Nov. 21 (MNA) – Zionist forces conducted a series of overnight and early morning raids across the occupied West Bank since October 7, resulting in the arrest of at least 3,000 Palestinians.

The arrests, confirmed by the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society, were carried out in various regions, including Jenin, Hebron (Al-Khalil), Bethlehem, Nablus, Ramallah, al-Quds, and Jericho.

In Ramallah, Zionist forces stormed the town of Barqa, conducting home invasions and arrests, while similar raids occurred in Qabatiya in the northern West Bank. One individual sustained injuries during a raid in Arraba, southwest of Jenin.

Soldiers also seized surveillance cameras in Qiffin, aiming to locate Palestinians allegedly linked to a shooting targeting settlers.

Before October 7, the Israeli regime's prisons held approximately 5,200 Palestinians. Since then, daily raids by Zionist forces have resulted in the arrest of 3,000 more individuals across the occupied West Bank and occupied East Al-Quds.

Among those arrested, rights and monitoring groups report at least 95 women and 37 journalists. Most detainees are held under the Israeli regime's laws and military orders that enable detention without trial or charge.

Alarming statistics reveal that at least 145 of those arrested are children, with over 200 children currently held in the Israeli regime's prisons, including 26 under administrative detention.
