Hizam al-Assad, as reported by the Al-Araby Al-Jadeed news website, emphasized that this move is a prelude to future maritime operations targeting Israeli warships, frigates, and cargo ships.
Al-Assad reassured that the ongoing conflict with the Israeli regime will not impact the negotiations and agreements between Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
He further highlighted the readiness of the Yemeni Navy and Coastal Defence Forces, stating that they are vigilantly monitoring and targeting Israeli military and cargo ships. This strategy, he affirmed, will persist as long as the Israeli regime continues its aggression in Gaza.
The Ansarullah movement is prepared to establish a Special Force composed of Yemeni fighters to take part in defending the residents of the Gaza Strip, Al-Assad said, adding that thousands of Yemenis are ready to contribute to the defense of Gaza, contingent on the permission of countries bordering Palestine for the fighters to cross.
