Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi made the remarks in a telephone conversation with Jonas Gahr Støre, the prime minister of Norway on Saturday night.
Welcoming the position of Norway in stopping the war in Gaza, Raeisi emphasized the necessity of international efforts to lift the blockade and provide immediate aid to this region.
President Raeisi also urged the human rights claimants in European countries to investigate the violation of human rights in Europe and the United States.
He said that the war crimes of the Zionist regime and the US support for these crimes should not go unpunished.
The fact that one child dies in Gaza every 10 minutes is a clear example of a crime against humanity, Raeisi said, adding that the silence and even the arms support of the United States and a number of European countries to the Zionist regime is proof of the double standards of the West and the obvious complicity of these countries in the crimes of the Zionists.
Norwegian prime minister said for his part, "Norway is aware of the important and effective role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region."
While appreciating Iran's efforts in the field of controlling tension, he said that Iran seeks to interact with Iran to find new ways to resolve the Palestinian crisis.
