Turkey recalls ambassador to Israel for consultations

TEHRAN, Nov. 04 (MNA) – Turkish foreign ministry has said in a statement that Ankara has recalled its ambassador to Israel for consultations due to the humanitarian crisis and ongoing Israeli attacks in Gaza.

Turkey's move came after its President Recep Tayyip said earlier today that Netanyahu was “no longer someone we can talk to”. He further said that his country would bring the Israeli war crimes to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Israel’s envoys to Turkey left the country last month after protests erupted in support of Palestinians.

Israel later said it had recalled its envoys to assess bilateral ties.

The Zionist Israeli regime's military has widened its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has been under relentless airstrikes since the surprise attack by the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas on Oct. 7.

At least 9,227 Palestinians, mostly children and women, have been killed in Israeli attacks since then, while as many as 1,500 Zionist soldiers and settlers have also been killed, according to official figures.

Basic supplies are running low for Gaza’s 2.3 million residents due to the Israeli regime siege, in addition to the large number of casualties and displacements.
