Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks in Saudi Arabia on the sidelines of the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
A hospital in Gaza was targeted by the bombs of the Zionist regime causing the martyrdom of more than 500 civilians including patients, the medical staff which makes this action an intolerable crime, Amir-Abdollahian said.
On the second day of the Zionist regime's attacks, Iran requested the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to hold an urgent meeting with the foreign ministers of the member states, he said.
Referring to the purpose of this meeting, Iran's foreign minister stated that he exchanged messages with his counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan regarding the specific goals of this meeting.
He noted that the emphasis is on three axes which include an immediate end to the Zionist regime's crimes against civilians in Gaza, the opening of a passage for transporting water, food, medicine, and fuel to different areas of Gaza, and strong confrontation against the actions of the Zionists in the forced migration of people of the region.
Amir-Abdollahian added that during the consultation with the foreign minister of Saudi Arabia, they agreed to issue a strong final resolution by the participating members to witness a global collective action to stop the crime against humanity, genocide, and massacre that the fake and child-killing regime has launched.
