Judiciary system to hand down harsh punishments on economy disruptors

TEHRAN, Aug. 01 (MNA) – Mohammad Jafar Montazeri, Iran's Attorney General, said on Wednesday that Iranian judiciary system will administer the harshest punishment on economy disruptors.

“Iranian judiciary system will administer the harshest punishment on those who have willingly or unwillingly inflicted disruption on economic programs of the country to serve enemies interests,” said Mohammad Jafar Montazeri, Iran's Attorney General, on Wednesday.

The Iranian judiciary official made the remarks at a ceremony to introduce the new Attorney General of Ilam Province, referring to the latest turbulent fluctuations in Iranian currency and gold markets.

“Since the outset of the Islamic Revolution the Iranian nation has gone through many tides and ebbs in times like the era of imposed war, the disturbances created by MOK terrorists and finally the sanctions,” he underlined.

“Today, it is not a new thing for us that US is after creating riots, chaos, and disruption using its insider and foreign puppets to pose the heaviest economic pressures on Iran,” he added.

“We finished the imposed war with victory while we were suffering sanctions and the enemies must know that they will reap nothing with these kinds of unwise moves,” he highlighted.

“The enemies of the Islamic Revolution, especially the criminal US, are after creating a wave of disappointment in the public mind with their psychological warfare to reach their objectives through this way,” he underlined.

The judiciary official warned those who have contributed to recent disorders in Iranian currency and gold markets about the awaiting punishments to be handed down by the Iranian judiciary official.
