Turkish premier casts vote in his hometown Izmir

TEHRAN, Jun. 24 (MNA) – Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim casted his vote in the Aegean province of Izmir on Sunday.

"Turkey will continue moving forward to new targets [and] new horizons in stability and security with the new governing system,” Anadolu Agency quoted him as saying on Sunday.

He further expressed hoped that the result of election would benefit the nation.

The voting process for 56.3 million registered citizens began at 8 AM and will continue till 5 PM local time at 180,065 ballot boxes in all 81 provinces of Turkey where voters will take part in snap presidential and parliamentary elections.
