Iran’s interior min. says enemies seek to create division in Iran

TEHRAN, May 10 (MNA) – Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said on Thursday that the enemies are seeking to create division inside the country, calling for unity in the face of enemies’ plots.

“Iran is powerful and has made a lot of achievements in modern technologies that scare the enemies,” Rahmani Fazli said in Tehran, adding “today, Iran’s influence in the region and its cooperation with the regional countries is more than ever.”

He said that Iran now stands on its own feet and operates independently in the international arena.

The interior minister said the United States and other enemies know very well that they cannot contain Iran’s power, as a result they want to create division inside the country in order to achieve their malicious goals.

Rahmani Fazli went on to add that the United States proved to be untrustworthy as the Iranian Leader has always said, calling for unity among Iranians in the face of threats posed by the enemies.

The interior minister touched upon the recent ban on Telegram, saying that the popular messaging service was becoming a major threat against the country’s security.

He concluded by urging Iranians to use domestically produced products in line with the guidelines of the Leader Ayatollah Khamenei in order to tackle economic hardships.
