Pres. Rouhani visits Iran Oil Show 2018

TEHRAN, May 08 (MNA) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani paid a visit this morning to the 23rd Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining & Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2018) currently underway at Tehran Intl. Permanent Fairground.

While visiting various stands showcasing domestic products of Iranian companies, President Rouhani was informed of the latest achievements and the modern technologies employed by the country’s experts in the oil and gas sector.

The Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining & Petrochemical Exhibition as the largest oil expo in the Middle East, is annually held in Tehran with participation of top-tier Iranian and foreign companies.

This year, over 1,000 Iranian companies and 811 foreign companies from 37 countries in the world, including Germany, France, Russia, Japan, China, Netherlands, Austrian, Italy and South Korea, are taking part in the event.

The expo is organized by the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), which is one of the world’s largest oil companies with a vast amount of oil and gas resources. Currently, it is estimated that the company holds 156.53 billion barrels of liquid hydrocarbons and 33.79 trillion cubic meters of natural gas.

The 23rd Iran Oil Show will run until May 8, 2018, at Tehran International Permanent Fairground.
