JCPOA an obligatory document, Russian FM spox says

TEHRAN, May 06 (MNA) – Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman told Iranian news agency that the JCPOA is not an agreement between few countries but it is an obligatory document endorsed by UNSC.

Maria Zakharova made the remarks in an interview with IRNA in Moscow, warning the United States not to pull out of the nuclear deal with Iran as it would be clear violation of international law and a threat to the international security.

She hailed Iran’s role in fighting terrorism in Syria, adding that Iran has the capability to play a more effective role not only in Syria but also in the whole region.

Elsewhere in her remarks, Zakharova criticized the western countries’ approach towards Iran, saying that their approach would not bring security and peace to Europe and the region, and it would not help the international fight against terrorism.
