Iranian defense min. meets with PMU’s chief

TEHRAN, Apr. 19 (MNA) – Brigadier General Amir Hatami, Iranian Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistical Support met with PMU’s Chief Abu Mahdi al-Mohandis, on Thursday in Baghdad.

“I am totally assured that you have endured many pains and toils to be able to restore security and stability to Iraq and because of this I am grateful of all of you,” said Brigadier General Amir Hatami, Iranian Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistical Support.

The Iranian official made the remarks while meeting with (Popular Mobilization Units or Hashd al-Shaabi) PMU’s Chief Abu Mahdi al-Mohandis, on Thursday in Baghdad.

“The enemies which were appointed mercenaries of the global arrogant system as a means to secure their satanic objectives with their negligence and ignorance did many wrong things to the people of Iraq and Syria and the whole wronged people of the region,” lamented Mr. Hatami.

Abu Mahdi al-Mohandis, in this meeting, for his part, welcomed the official of the Islamic Republic of Iran and offered gratitude to all supports offered by the Iranian ministry of defense and armed forces logistical support in the war against terrorism.
