Some Muslim states hamper unity in Islamic world

TEHRAN, Dec. 01 (MNA) – Addressing worshipers during Tehran Friday Prayers, Ayatollah Movahedi Kermani said some Muslim countries, due to being deceived, do not let unity be formed and maintained in the Islamic world.

Ayatollah Kermani, pointed to the necessity of unity in the society, saying that the separated and non-united Ummah is what the enemy seeks, and if they are united, the enemy cannot defeat them.

Pointing to the unity between Shia and Sunni, Ayatollah Kermani said "Ahl al-Bayt is the axis of unity among Shias and Sunnis; some Muslim governments are deceived or frightened by the enemies and do not allow unity to exist among Muslims.”

Referring to the destruction of ISIL, he said, "nobody can undermine such a big victory. The Quran says that falsehood is destroyed. Why people are frightened and do not come to the battle field. As we saw, the destruction happened regarding ISIL’s issue.

Ayatollah reminded that the power of Leader, Hezbollah and the forces of Islam and Iran should be determined for the United States. “US knows that Iran has martyrs like Hojaji, commanders like General Soleimani and many other powerful and capable people. Of course, we should not ignore enemy plots; if the enemy seeks sabotage elsewhere, we must be awake to thwart them."
