West humiliating behavior sparks Muslims’ hatred, disgust toward US

TEHRAN, Nov. 29 (MNA) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said the humiliating behavior of West has led to the hatred and disgust of Muslims towards the US.

Speaking during the open session of Parliament on Wednesday, Larijani said Prophet Mohammad’s main recommendation was on the unity among Muslims.

“The Prophet asked for avoidance from disagreement between Muslims, which destroyed their predecessors,” Larijani asserted and also quoted Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as saying "believers are brothers and they are united against others."

At the head of the theory of Western secularism, he said, Muslim humiliation and colonialism have been concealed and still remain, which is well understood in the French colonialism in Algeria. It is not the case that Westerners were unaware of the history of Muslims and their scientific services, but they have built a sort of hegemony on Muslims, he noted.

He also pointed to the end of ISIL control, reminding that we are grateful to the IRGC’s Quds Force and its brave commander General Soleimani who took a unique step in the fight against terrorism in the region.

He also expressed sympathies with Egyptian parliament and Muslim nation over the terrorist attack, a catastrophe similar to the Zionist crimes in the Al-Khalil Mosque, he noted.
