Iran trade-industry fair to open in Turkey’s Istanbul

TEHRAN, Oct. 24 (MNA) –A technical exhibition of Iranian trade and industry is slated to open on Wednesday in Turkish port city of Istanbul.

Iranian Minister of Industries, Mining and Trade, Mohammad Shariatmadari, wil join Turkish Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, in the opening ceremony of the event. The two ministers jointly act as the chairmen of Iran-Turkey economic commission.

Intended to introduce Iran’s capabilities in areas of industry, commerce, and economy, the exhibition held after a 12 year hiatus is a step toward all-out expansion of ties between Iran and Turkey

Petro-chemistry, construction industry, car manufacturing industries, and tourism are the sections which will showcase their capacities in the exhibition. The two free trade zones of Makou and Anzali will also present their potentials of investment in the fair.

A host of 85 Iranian firms and companies use an area of 2,500 square meters for 4 days to expose their advantages and merits in areas of trade and industry at the event. The exhibition is open to visitors 10:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. local time.
