TEHRAN, Sep. 10 (MNA) – Senior diplomats at the Foreign Ministry of Bosnia and Herzegovina have set out on a trip to Tehran in order to take educational and introduction courses on Iran and the Middle East developments.

Before traveling to Tehran, the Bosnian diplomatic delegation met with Iran's Ambassador to Sarajevo Mahmood Heidari and expressed their gratitude to the embassy and Foreign Ministry of Iran for this opportunity.

During the meeting, the head of Bosnia’s diplomatic training office voiced optimism that the trip could help Bosnian diplomats to get better acquainted with Islamic Republic of Iran and the important developments of the Middle East.

Pointing to his earlier trips to Iran, the head of African and Asian office of Bosnia’s Foreign Ministry said that Iran’s political influence and civic attractions inspired him to participate in this course. The head of the ministry's public relations department also expressed his keen interest in learning about Iran’s culture and politics.

The Center for International Research and Education’s Deputy for Educational Affairs will be hosting this 8-day long course during which Bosnian diplomats will visit some of the cultural centers and tourist attractions of Tehran and Isfahan, in addition to attending educational sessions and political meetings.
