Italy’s Capri to host gallery of Iranian, Italian artists

TEHRAN, Sep. 09 (MNA) –An art gallery showcasing the works of 14 artists from Iran and Italy will be opened in Italian island of Capri for the 4th consecutive year.

“An exhibition under the title of Contemporary Vision- the Memory and Object will be held for the fourth consecutive year at Certosa di San Giacomo monastery on Italian island of Capri,” said Vahid Malek, the Director of Iran’s House of Art Gallery.

The exhibition will showcase the works of 14 Iranian and Italian contemporary artists. AfterAll, Filippo Centenari, Fabrizio Costantini, Pamela Diamante, Pierpaolo Lista, Giovanni Termini, and Cristian Vitale are the artists representing Italy in the show.

Alireza Sa’adatmand, Firouzeh Akhlaghi, Mohammad Hadi Fadavi, Shahram Karimi, Alireza Karampour, Sahar Salehi, and Amir Bakhtiari are the Iranian artists whose works are to be staged at the gallery.

Certosa di San Giacomo is a Carthusian monastery on the island of Capri founded in 1363 by Giacomo Arcucci.
