Stressing that monitoring the domestic market for Nano products is a priority for Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC), head of the Industrial Promotion Group at the INIC Ali Tahari told MNA that "in this way, we can decide whether or not to extend the certification of these Nanoscale products." He pointed out that the certification of Nanoscale products is valid for one year and during this time these products are kept under monitoring.
According to Taheri, water, environment, energy and nanomaterials and equipment are the top priorities of Nano council.
He maintained that 257 knowledge-based companies have received Nanoscale certification and added, “157 out of these 257 companies have produced 367 certified Nano products.”
According to Tahari, INIC has launched a ‘Technology Exchange’ system in order to commercialize these products. This way, the certified products which are loaded onto this system will be introduced to investors in the industry.
