Iran’s senior MP and Head of the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi extended congratulations to Hezbollah chief Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah over the 11th anniversary of Lebanon’s victory in the 33-day war.
“With deep pleasure, I would like to congratulate you on anniversary of great victory of the Lebanese Resistance army in the 33-day war,” the message reads.
“Over the years after the glorious victory as its military and intelligence dimensions are further revealed, military officials and free nations, especially the Islamic Ummah, get even more amazed at the strategic significance of the eternal epic.”
The official also noted that “undoubtedly, thoughtful management of you and great sacrifices of the Lebanese Hezbollah warriors created the unprecedented epic to bring more honor to Islamic history.”
In addition to being a dignity for Lebanon, the achievement has opened a new chapter in the history of the Muslim nation's struggles against the Zionists and their western supporters.
“Hereby, on behalf of the great people of Iran and members of the Iranian Parliament, once again, I feel obliged to congratulate you and commanders of the great battle on the outstanding victory,” he continued.
Boroujerdi also wished mercy and grace for martyrs of the war and immediate healing for those who were wounded.
