Kalila and Dimna will experience its first international presence at 13th Eurasia International Film Festival, as Kazakhstan’s most important cinematic event.
The international broadcast of this animated feature is the responsibility of Farabi Cinema Foundation.
Kalila and Dimna is a well-documented study of the history of the animal fables of Indian origin, composed in Sanskrit possibly as early as the third century BC.
The Eurasia International Film Festival is the major film forum in Central Asia accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF). The Festival’s main goals are to support film industry in Kazakhstan, to further the appreciation of motion picture arts for people of all ages, and to build the platform for successful cooperation between Asia and Europe.
