'Fish and I' wins 54th award at SorsiCorti

TEHRAN, May. 28 (MNA) – Iranian short cinematic production Fish and I, directed, written and acted by Babak Habibifar was awarded at SorsiCorti Short Film Festival in Italy.

Iranian animated short Fish and I won the Best Film Award at the 11th edition of Italian event held on May 22-30.

This is the 54th international award Fish and I has received so far.

Fish and I recounts the story of a blind man trying to save his fish.

The festival describes the short film as a successful work recounting the character through excitement and elegance of movement. The story is very nice and transfers a kind of tension, which leads to an extraordinary final poetic scene in just a few minutes. Fish and I is an honest image of a friendship that has appeared on the big screen and has been quoted very unaffected.

SorsiCorti is a Short Film Festival that combines conviviality and interest in the art of the short film.
