6th Intl. filmfest for Peace, Inspiration & Equality calls for entries

TEHRAN, May 22 (MNA) – The 2017 International Film Festival for Peace, Inspiration, and Equality (IFFPIE) in Jakarta, Indonesia, is calling for film submissions from across the world.

The International Film Festival for Peace, Inspiration, and Equality (IFFPIE) was established to celebrate the World Peace Day (September 21), to participate in making a more peaceful world, raise the quality of life, and maintain an intercultural relationship for better acceptance and deeper understanding of people and diversity in life.

IFFPIE is one of the members of a big festivals group internationalfilmfestivals.org which aim is to help promote the goals of the United Nations in celebrating international days of peace, women, anti-discrimination, tolerance, youth, family, humanitarian, human rights, health, environment, disability, etc.

The Festival receives submissions from all over the world. It accepts feature and short film, and documentary (any length), and welcomes ambitious newcomers to star their excellent films.

Their prominent past winners include Eric Roberts, Jim Caviezel, Joe Kraemer, President Jimmy Carter, Pope John Paul II , Andy Garcia, Alice Krige, Guy Davidi, Jason Isaacs, Leverne Ann McDonnell, Robin Shou, David Anders, James Cromwell, Julian Sands, and more.
