Nine more families return to al-Waer in Homs

HOMS, May 07 (MNA) – Tens of people who left al-Waer neighborhood in Homs came back to it on Saturday in the framework of implementing the reconciliation agreement in the neighborhood, putting an end to their suffering in the camps of Jarablus.

SANA reporter said that more nine families that include 37 people came back to al-Waer neighborhood after they had left it to Jarablus city in Aleppo countryside within the reconciliation agreement, noting that they decided to return due to the oppression and the inhuman treatment they faced in the camps of the city.

Homs Governor Talal al-Barazi, in a statement to SANA, pointed out to communications which confirm the willingness of al-Waer residents to turn back to the neighborhood, adding that the turning back started with batches from Jarablus and Idleb as there is a new batch that will return soon.

“More batches of residents will come back in the upcoming weeks in view of the facilitations provided by Homs Governorate for all the families that wish to return,” al-Barazi clarified.

He added that the children coming back to the neighborhood will directly join their schools; particularly that al-Waer will restore security and stability within the upcoming weeks once the last batch of gunmen will get out of the neighborhood.
