Slovenian FM condoles with Zarif over deadly flooding

TEHRAN, Apr. 22 (MNA) – Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Karl Erjavec has extended condolences to his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif over recent flooding in Iran’s northwest.

In a message to the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Slovenia’s Erjavec offered his sincere condolences for the flooding and landslides in four provinces in Iran’s northwest, killing a total of 48 people.

“On behalf of the Republic of Slovenia and myself, I would like to convey my heartfelt sympathies and condolences over the regrettable incident,” his message reads.

At the end of his message, the Slovenian FM called for conveyance of his deep sympathies to the families of victims and wished healthiness and well-being for those injured.

Recently, the provinces of East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Kordestan, Zanjan and Ardabil were hit by the extreme weather as a result of which 48 people lost their lives.
