Sheikh Hussein al-Daihi, Deputy Secretary General of Bahrain's al-Wefaq Islamic bloc, had an exclusive interview with Hawzah News in which he thanked Iranian seminary schools as well as Muslim scholars for supporting the Bahraini revolution: "the Shia maraji (sources of emulation), religious scholars and the seminaries in general have always voiced their unwavering support for the Bahraini citizens who are being brutally oppressed by Al Khalifah regime; Iranian Islamic seminaries are regarded as the greatest supporter of Bahraini revolution,” he said.
"Throughout all these years since the beginning of Bahraini uprising, the Shia sources of emulation have stood by the people of Bahrain and slammed al Khalifah atrocities; they have also voiced their solidarity with Bahraini people to realize their legitimate demands and encouraged them to go forward with their efforts."
Al-Dihi also pointed out that Iranian clerics' sit-ins to show solidarity with Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim had been very effective; "such sit-ins and protests serve as a means to directly support the Bahraini people and they most certainly uplift Bahrainis' spirits to fight for their demands."
Sheikh Hussein al-Daihi asserted that he had been watching the reports b Hawzah News [Agency] closely regarding Bahrain; "we sincerely thank you for your great efforts in covering the news regarding Bahrain's revolution. Your media activities help our people move forward and we appreciate all you've done to make the voice of Bahraini people heard around the world,” he concluded.
