Iran takes part in 2017 Thailand Inventor’s Day

TEHRAN, Feb. 04 (MNA) – 14 Iranian inventors took part in the 20th Thailand Inventor’s Day (TID) that is currently underway in Bangkok, exhibiting interesting inventions and innovations from across the world.

Held this year under the name of “2017 Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition” (IPITEx 2017), the exhibition is currently underway during Thailand Inventors’ Day from 2-6 February, 2017.

Fourteen Iranian inventors have been displaying their inventions at this five-day exhibition in Bangkok.

More than 1000 inventors from over 20 countries including Iran, Poland, China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesian, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, United Arabic Emirates, Egypt and Switzerland are participating in this annual invention competition.

Inventions are presented at the exhibition in two categories of ‘inventions for society and quality of life’ and ‘Innovations for Industry’.

Medicine, public health, energy, environmental protection, house and office equipment, food, cosmetics, agriculture and biotechnology are the main subsections of this five-day event.

The main prize of the exhibition will be given to an inventor from the Association of South East Asian Nations and gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to top inventions on the last day of the exhibition.
