Iran’s First Vice-President Es’hagh Jahangiri, on Wednesday, in a formal message to the newly appointed Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Bakytjan Saguintaïev, congratulated the Kazakh on acquiring the position.
Jahangiri voiced hope that the premiership of Saguintaïev would lead to better than ever friendly ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Kazakhstan. He concludes the message with praying for Saguintaïev’s success and Kazakhs’ prosperity.
The 52 year old politician was appointed as the new prime minister of Kazakhstan on September 8, succeeding the former PM Karim Massimov. The decision to promote the former deputy PM as the PM was made by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
