Russian military registers 78 ceasefire violations in Syria in past 24 hours

TEHRAN, Sep 29 (MNA) – The Russian center for Syrian reconciliation at the Hmeimim airbase registered a total of 78 violations of the ceasefire regime in Syria in the last 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The largest number of ceasefire violations (47) was registered in the Aleppo province. Damascus and Latakia provinces also suffered from shelling.

"A total of 78 ceasefire violations by illegal militant groups have been registered in past 24 hours," the ministry said in a daily bulletin posted on its website on Wednesday. The Jabhat Fatah Al-Sham, formerly known as Nusra Front, and the ISIL terrorist groups, which have been outlawed in Russia, are not part of the ceasefire deal.
