Chancellors of Serbian universities visit UT

TEHRAN, Sep. 14 (MNA) – Academic delegation from Serbia visited University of Tehran on Wednesday with the aim to develop scientific exchanges between the two countries.

The 6-member delegation from universities of John Naisbitt, Kragujevac and Novi Sad and theological school of Belgrade University paid a visit to University of Tehran in order to get familiar with educational, research and medical services.

Vice President of Research and Technology Dr. Masoud Younesian said the Serbian academic delegation were interested in visiting one of Iran's important universities to develop ways of cooperation in science and technology.

He underlined the Serbian delegation were surprised with their visit confirming that Iran is completely different from what Western media describe; "they said visiting the country provides us with more information than studying about it in books or media," Younesian noted.

The Serbian delegation also met Tarbiat Modares University on Sunday to develop scientific and cultural exchanges in the field of humanities, theological studies, technology and medical science.
