Iranians to perform ‘Hamlet’ in Poland

TEHRAN, Jul. 31 (MNA) – Arash Dadgar, director of ‘Hamlet’ has said his crew will provide a free interpretation of Shakespeare’s tragedy in Poland’s Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre.

Dadgar told Mehr News Art service that his crew would be on the stage animating ‘Hamlet,’ however in Persian on August 5 in Poland. His crew, members of oddly enough entitled Quantum Theatre Group will leave Tehran for Polish destination. “We will missing three of our hard-working crew members and the crew will scramble to deal the gap not admitting new artists from outside the group,” Dadgar told Mehr News. “Quantum is where energies come together to create a unique product.”

Shabnam Farshadjou, a fan and a guest, accompanies the group and is no less concerned with the final outcome of the theatrical group’s work than themselves; she is an energizer to the group and would work hours and hours to render a fine work of theatrical performance. ‘Hamlet’ won the title of Best Work in Fajr Theatre Festival’s 32nd edition in 2014 with a performance in Iranshahr Theatre.

Amin Tabatabaei, Hesam Manzour, Mehran Imambakhsh, Shabnam Farshadjou, Behrouz Kazemi, Ammar Ashouri, Sanaz Najafi, Vahid Rad, Amir Radjabi, and Mehrab Rostami will be among the Quantum crew in Gdańsk.
