Elsewhere in the city, army units operating in Daraa al-Balad targeted fortified sites and machine gun positions for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization and other Takfiri groups affiliated to it near the Power Company and Khazan al-Kark, destroying the aforementioned sites completely and killing and injuring a number of terrorists.
Takfiri groups positioned in Daraa al-Balad include mercenaries who infiltrated across the border with Jordan, the most known of these groups are "Liwa Tawheed al-Janoub" and "Jaish al-Yarmouk".
