Iran gets closer to Rio Olympics beating China

TEHRAN, Jun. 02 (MNA) – Iranian volleyballers win over China at the 2016 Olympic men’s volleyball qualifier in Tokyo, Japan on Thursday.

Iran’s national volleyball team, while failing in 2nd and 4th sets, won the 1st, 3rd and 5th sets against China to gain their fourth victory at the Asian Olympic Qualification Tournament and achieve a solid advantage in the race for the Asian Olympic quota.

Shahram Mahmoudi, Milad Ebadipour, Frahad Ghaemi, Saeid Marouf, Seyyed Mohammad Mousavi, Adel Gholami and Farhad Zarif played for Iran against China.

Iran has already beat Australia, Canada and Japan and was defeated once by France.
