Iranian TV Magazine “180 Degrees” broadcasted on IRIB's Ofogh channel released a video of Seyed Mohammad Sadegh Kharazi, a former Iranian diplomat and advisor to Iran's former President Khatami, recounting the event told by Yusuf Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, about US Secretary of State John Kerry.
"I saw Yusuf Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah some time ago," Kharrazi said, "he told me about a top secret and confidential issue on a recent meeting of the foreign ministers of the region along with Egypt and Jordan with Mr. John Kerry."
Bin Alawi unveiled that all the ministers began to criticize Mr. Kerry that, “you are talking with our enemy, one who has contained us strategically and today all of us are under the influence of Iran; you walk with them, have breakfast and hold nuclear negotiations with our rival," they said.
“Instead of imposing further sanctions to break Iran’s backbone, you hold talks with them while we are your strategic ally,” they reportedly protested Kerry.
Kharrazi added that Bin Alawi told me Mr. Kerry was explaining when the UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan rudely rejected Kerry’s words.
“Kerry got upset and firmly hit his folder on the table and shouted ‘entire Arab world lacks a man like General Soleimani to combat terrorism," Kharrazi qouted Bin Alawi who had been recounting the meeting. "John Kerry had continued criticizing the Arab authorities for supporting terrorism and breeding terrorists, while Iran has been on the forefront of fIght against terrorism in the region," Kharrazi said.
