Alireza Deliri, Development, Resources, and Management deputy of Presidential Deputy for Science and Technology said that the symposium had been hailed by the academic communities and 400 articles had been sent to the symposium secretariat; “the symposium will host 5 training workshops with 5 specialist panels; 504 academicians of neurosurgery will attend the symposium,” he added.
“Iran’s world-renowned neurosurgical giant Professor Majid Samii will chair the symposium which will be an event where prestigious domestic and international neurosurgery scientists from 70 countries will participate and contribute,” he told reporters.
“They symposium will provide the latest achievements and methods in neurosurgery, and it will be a venue for exchange of novel ideas from around the world; neurosurgery, neurology, anesthesia, neuroscience, pathology, psychopathy/psychology, audiometry/audiology, radiology, orthopedics (orthospine), radiotherapy/oncology, neuroophtalmology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, nuclear medicine, neuroendocrinology and reconstructive surgery (peripheral nervous system) will be the themes of the 5th symposium,” he detailed.
The symposium will be hosted by Tehran’s Spinas Hotel Palace, April 17-22 2016.
