Iran Wins Asian Juniors' Weightlifting Title

With three gold, three silver, and eight bronze medals, Iran stood top with 562 points followed by the runner-up Taiwan and the third-placed Indonesia with 545 and 383 points respectively.

Iran participated in the four-day event with the following weightlifters:

51kg: Sohrab Moradi, Morteza Rezaeian

77kg: Mohammad Hassandoust

85kg: Mahmoud Nikjoo

94kg: Mohammad Karamzadeh, Hadi A'lami

+94kg: Seyed Ali Hosseini, Hossein Jamshidian

Fifteen countries took part in the Asian weightlifting event competitions.

On Sunday, the Iranian team will return home.
