Last Tuesday, Dec. 15, the governing board of the International Atomic Energy Agency overwhelmingly voted in favor of a draft resolution which brought an end to a 12-year investigation into the past and present outstanding issues regarding Iran’s nuclear program. The final closure of the so-called possible military dimensions (PMD) in Iran's nuclear program will remove a major obstacle to implementing the nuclear agreement reached between Iran and the 5+1 group of countries, expected to normalize Iran’s relations with the world as the unjust sanctions would be finally lifted.
Yet, in a quite paradoxical, but hardly surprising, turn of events, the panel of experts on the same day said in a confidential report that Iran’s firing of the long-range ballistic missile dubbed ‘Emad’ in October violated a UN Security Council resolution, namely the resolution 1929 which places a ban on Iran against developing military equipment capable of delivering nuclear weapons. The irony here is quite blinding. While the nuclear deal and the closure of the PMD firmly indicate the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program, and Iran’s compliance to take necessary measures to ensure the IAEA that its nuclear case will remain peaceful – not to mention the fact that the Islamic Republic’s defensive doctrine is strongly against the use of any weapon of mass destruction – yet the 1929 resolution against Iran remains effective (which should be by default quite redundant – if the world agrees the country does not have any nuclear weapon, why should they be concerned with missiles that could carry nuclear warheads?) and threatens the trust the Islamic Republic has tentatively put in the West.
In order to have a better understanding of this newly-developed scenario, we have reached to Scott Bennett, a former US army psychological operation officer and counter-terrorism analyst in San Francisco, who believes that “the UN resolution is just a rubber stamp by American puppets who are paid slaves who live to serve its American masters.”
“Iran, like any other country, has a duty to protect its people using weapons – whether they are spears, swords, bullets, bombs, or missiles. So any attempt to stop Iran from developing defensive weapons to protect its people is not only against the laws of nature and of nations; it is indeed laughable and shows a mental instability which seems to increasingly characterize the political leadership of the United States and NATO,” Bennett told MNA.
He assured that the Republican senators’ outcry against Iran’s missile program will not lead to new sanctions against Iran neither by “the Obama Administration, nor by Congress, because Obama will veto the bill.”
“Of course the Republican Congress and some Republican Presidential candidates will be trying to make 'noise' and threats against Iran in order to stir-up and gain favor of the Republican Zionist, pro-Israel voters. owever I think after 15 years of war, this is a failed idea,” he noted.
Bennett also touched upon the prospect of the PMD closure for Iran in the international scene, saying “Iran must launch a global positive public relations campaign, and specifically focus its outreach to the American public by sending powerful speakers, poets, writers, scholars, artists, musicians, to make a positive impression on American minds and persuade Americans to see Iranians as people of high culture, tolerance, long history, and human love and hope.”
He discussed the case of the US Iranophobia campaign, saying the United States media and political class have for far too long brainwashed the American people into thinking Iran is a violent, bloody, war-raging country obsessed with “destroying and erasing Israel from off the map of the world, and forcing women to wear burkas, and murdering Jews and Christians."
“This propaganda can only be overcome through positive messaging directly to the heart of Americans, and simultaneously with US Security Council nations such as Britain, France, and Germany. By winning the affections of the NATO/European nations, they will be less inclined to support Israeli or US acts of violence against Iran,” he said.
The American whistleblower who had exposed fraud and corruption inside the US war machine called this “an information war”, calling on Iran to “join and/or create a coalition with Russia and China to influence the hearts and minds of Americans for good.”
He recounted the key topics to influence Americans as “marriage and family and children; purity, virtue, truth, love, tradition, patience, kindness as the values we teach our children; freedom of religion and the path of peace and tolerance of humans seeking their own relationship with God, free from religious persecution; and the right to create and trade, market and sell, and develop wealth and prosperity for oneself, one’s family, and one’s nation and the world.”
The counterterrorist finance analyst further urged Iran to “unite itself with Russia and China and the BRICS nations, and South America, in order to diversify its influence and distract the American CIA and military operations which are actively working in concert with the Israeli Mossad to weaken and destabilize Iran and assist Saudi Arabia in its plan to conquer the Shia world.”
Dr. Scott Bennett, formerly of the US Army 11th Psychological Operations Battalion, attempted to blow the whistle by contacting the commercially-controlled media and writing to US politicians after being sacked from his job as terrorist finance investigator after he proved too zealous at the job. He also tried to expose Union Bank of Switzerland for financing terrorism (Al Qaeda, Benghazi, ISIL) through the US and Allies, Saudi, Qatar, Turkey, Israel back in 2012; then thrown in prison for it. Bennett had a background in advertising, before being fast tracked into the US military PSYOPS division, receiving a Direct Commission as an Officer, and held a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
