Senior Cleric:

‘Enemy seeks to eliminate Iran’

‘Enemy seeks to eliminate Iran’

TEHRAN, Nov. 06 (MNA) – Stressing that enemies detest glory and majesty of Iran, Tehran’s interim Friday Prayers leader said the global arrogance seeks to eliminate Iran as understood by the course of nuclear talks.

Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani said the Islamic Republic of Iran was established at a time when Shah’s West-rooted White Revolution had masked the country preventing all sorts of progress.

The Cleric deemed the pre-Revolution era in Iran as analogous to the current situation in Saudi Arabia which is like a medieval and miserable country referring to the Leader’s remarks that Iran had the same conditions at the time of the Shah.

“The US and arrogance have always been there and still continue their activities,” said Emami Kashani adding, “Saudi Arabia is serving the interests of Western governments in the Yemen crisis while Iran has always been backing the axis of resistance against ISIL."

Referring to the recent meeting in Vienna on Syria, the cleric said, “Iran and the Foreign Ministry’s comments prevailed the session which indicates the glory of the country.”

He emphasized that the enemies of Islam hate the glory and grandeur of the Islamic Republic of Iran; “we realized during the course of nuclear talks that they seek removal of Iran from the global arena," he maintained.

Tehran’s interim Friday Prayers leader further pointed to the issue of infiltration urging prevention of infiltration by strengthening economy, ethics and politics.

Stressing the significance of implementing the nuclear deal Iran reached with the 5+1, he called on the government to pay due attention to the comments urged by the Leader in his letter to President Rouhani about implementing the nuclear deal.
