Oberhausen Festival to show Iran’s “Broken Circle”

TEHRAN, May 3 (MNA) -- “Broken Circle” directed by Mohsen Tabandeh is the only Iranian short film participating in the 51st Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, which will be held from May 5 to 10 in the German town.

A total of 134 films are participating in various sections of the festival, and 66 films will be competing in the competition section.

 

The festival jury includes members from France, Britain, the United States, Lebanon and Germany.

 

German Music Videos, the Children's and Youth Film Competition, the German Competition, and the International Competition are some of its sections.

 

The short film “The House Is Black” directed by deceased Iranian poet Forugh Farrokhzad was screened during the previous Oberhausen festival.
