KSA mismanagement of security, executive forces cause of Mina tragedy

TEHRAN, Sep. 25 (MNA) – Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council blamed Saudi government for deploying experienced security and executive staff to Yemen and Bahrain and leaving Hajj with scant rookie forces.

At the end of the Mina-Tragedy-Special-Committee of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani affirmed Saudi mismanagement and inefficient excutives officials of Hajj as one of the main causes of catastrophe in Mina.

Referring to messages issued by Iran’s Leader and President Rouhani, Shamkhani recounted the formation of committee very early on Thursday.

He detailed that the committee has been coordinating political, medical and information sections in Iran to handle the disaster efficently.

Regretting the lack of Saudi focus on proper conduct of the biggest congress of Muslims in the world, Shamkhani attributed the chain of accidents in this year Hajj to imbalance of security and police staff in the holy land after the dispatch of the best forces to oppress the defenseless people of Bahrain and Yemen.

It is a sensitive and significant issue for the Islamic Republic and we will follow the case till the revelation of the truth implementing all-out legal and diplomatic capacity of Iran, said Shamkhani.

Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council extended his condolences to Muslims and the bereaved families of the victims in Iran and all over the world over the deadly tragedy, voicing Iran’s readiness to provide help to Muslim victims from other countries.
