The deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs made the remarks in a meeting with a delegation of Lebanese parties' members and political activists.
“Iran's fixed strategy is boosting relations with all world countries, particularly with the Islamic, neighboring, and regional countries but on the other hand, the Zionist regime seeks to provoke tension in the region,” Amir-Abdollahian said.
The Iranian official praised the regional resistance front for its campaign against terrorism and extremism, noting that “Iran has always worked for improving the region’s security and stability and is opposed to any move leading to destabilizing the region.”
He criticized the parties which stir up violence in the region and added “Saudi regime's military intervention in Yemen is a grave mistake which is beneath the dignity of an Arab country.”
He also stressed that Iran has always emphasized on seeking political solutions for regional crises.
Amir-Abdollahian at the end expressed hope that the fate of Imam Musa Sadr, which is a serious concern for his family, friends, as well as the nation of Iran will be pursued and finalized in any possible way by the Lebanese and Libyan officials.
