Two Iranian movies to be screened in Germany

TEHRAN, Aug. 24 (MNA) – Amir Ansari’s film Rabies and Alireza Raeesian’s film A Time for Love will be simultaneously screened in Iran and Germany.

In order for audiences in Iran as well as those Iranaians residing in Germany to enjoy home-made films, Iranian films are planned to get screenings in Europe; therefore, Mohammad Yousefi, the Iranian film maker who lives in Germany, intends to display the 2 films, Rabies and A Time for Love, in there.

A Time for Love, directed by Alireza Raeesian is due to be displayed in several cities in Germany in September and afterwards, Amir Ansari’s film Rabies will be screened in Europe in October.

The film A Time for Love, which is currently being displayed in Iran, is a romantic drama happening in the context of social issues and the lead actors in the film include Leila Hatami, Shahab Hosseini, Farhad Aslani, Parviz Poor Hosseini, and Bita Farahi.

Rabies is a social film which mainly depicts the problems and complicated relationships in Tehran city comparing them to rabies, a deadly virus which needs immediate treatment in order to avoid harsh consequences.
