Dr. Seyyed Kamal Kharrazi, the Secretary of the Strategic Headquarters for Development of Science and Cognitive Technologies, held meeting with Andrei Aleksandrovich Fursenko, Russian Presidential Assistant for Science and Technology, who has traveled to Tehran to discuss the potentials of developping bilateral ties in the field of cognitive sciences and technologies.
“Great efforts have been made in the field of cognitive science in Iran,” Kharrazi said, pointing to the strong foundations in Russia as a basis for planning to implement joint projects by both countries.
Iran and Russia are seeking to prepare the ground for setting up a committee for joint scientific and technological cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.
The Iranian and Russian officials had earlier discussed mutual cooperation and interactions in scientific and technological areas in Moscow in October.
