TEHRAN, Nov. 19 (MNA) – German foreign minister has expressed optimism about Iran’s nuclear talks in Vienna.

In a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said they still do not know whether the meeting of foreign ministers would take place during Iran’s nuclear talks with 5+1.

“All sides express hope that the talks are likely to reach a level to be decided in ministerial level in the days ahead”, Frank-Walter Steinmeier added in his speech to the reporters.

Expressing optimism over the latest round of nuclear talks with the 5+1, German foreign minister reiterated that they hope to achieve a nuclear deal with Tehran.

The tenth round of talks between Iran and the 5+1 initiated on Tuesday with participation of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, EU chief negotiator Catherine Ashton, and foreign ministry political heads and will continue until November 24, which is a deadline according to 2013 Joint Plan of Action to reach a comprehensive agreement.
