Nuclear deal possible if west ‘abandons’ some of its demands

TEHRAN, June 22 (MNA) – Iran’s FM has said that a nuclear agreement between Iran and the world powers would be possible if the west reduces excessive demands.

Mohammad Javad Zarif said Iranians’ incontrovertible rights were on agenda in the negotiations and the Iranian negotiators pursued them.

In a ceremony on Sunday the new Chinese ambassador to Tehran presented his credential to Mohammad Javad Zarif and foreign minister welcomed expansion of cooperation between the two countries.

In the meeting Zarif made hints to Iran’s nuclear negotiations and asserted that they would pursue Iranian rights and added that seriousness along with abandoning some of excessive demands  would make a nuclear deal possible.

He explained Iran’s view and emphasized on fighting terrorism in Iraq.  Chinese new ambassador emphasized on fighting terrorism and added that "China seeks more relations with Iran in different fields."

He pointed to Iran nuclear negotiations and said that China always criticized the west  on their unrealistic views in talks with Iran over Tehran nuclear issue.

He also pointed to Rouhani’s recent visit to China and said that his country was satisfied with the results of the visit and hoped for more visits on higher levels.

Also the new ambassador of Croatia presented his credentials to Mohammad Javad Zarif Sundaymorning.  

In the meeting, Zarif dubbed relations of the two countries as good and long and added that “there are many opportunities of cooperation in economy, commerce and business, and cultural exchange between Iran and Croatia.”

The new Croatia ambassador to Iran conveyed his countries’ greetings to Zarif. He said political relations between the two countries were on progress.
