Mohammad Nabi Habibi told Mehr News that ISIS acted in the region in accordance to western enmity towards Islam. “Colonialists lead some groups in a way they intend to fulfill their own interests, the most telling example being in the past Al-Qaeda and Taliban terrorist group.
“All western super powers that created these groups are at risk because of these terrorist groups and ISIS is a danger not only for the region but also for the whole world and this is what the westerners know themselves.” added Habibi.
Habibi believed that roots of such groups were in West’s enmity towards Islam and “Westerners and Zionists created ISIS to compensate for their defeat in Syria.”
“All groups in Iraq including Shiites, Sunnis, and Kurds should unite to fight against Takfirists to deracinate this group,” said Habibi.
He held that ISIS was a US-Israeli strategy to destroy resistance in the region.
