Iran’s Shahrokhi Finishes Fourth At World Shot-Put Event

Shahrokhi, who had set the best record among 32 participants in the preliminary round stood fourth with a 19.8m throw.

Georgy Ivanov from Bulgaria stole the show, throwing 20.7m, the Polish thrower Jacob Giz finished runner-up with a 20.5m and the bronze went to Alexandre Gerkov, who threw 19.98m.

The Iranian bagged bronze last year.
