5,000 Year-Old Relics Discovered in Iranshahr

TEHRAN, July 19 (Mehr News Agency) – Several precious relics were discovered via recent excavations in Bazman region, Iranshahr, Sistan-Baluchestan Province.

Dating back 5,000 years, the discovered relics are extremely delicate made with advanced technology at the time.

They include several stone and metal items as well as earthenware decorated with beautiful engraved pictures of animals, proving the rich civilization of the region.

The excavations which were originally focused on the Burnt City and Khajeh Mountain in the province have now been extended to other parts, including the regions of Iranshahr and Baluchestan.
